Is acacia wood safer than bamboo for food?
Acacia is solid wood with natural antimicrobial tannins. Bamboo is technically a grass and is almost always laminated with adhesives, some of which contain formaldehyde. For food contact, properly finished acacia is the safer long-term choice.
Why does my acacia bowl have dark streaks, is it damaged?
